Hotel Pick-Up & Drive to Marangu Gate Early morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha or Moshi. Scenic drive through local villages and countryside to Marangu Gate. Complete registration with your professional mountain guide who will brief you on the day's hike. Hiking Through Rainforest Zone Walk through the green rainforest where the air is fresh and the trail is surrounded by tall trees and unique plants. The path is well-maintained and peaceful. Spot black and white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, and various bird species in their natural habitat. Your guide shares information about the mountain, ecosystem, and Marangu Route history. Viewpoint & Picnic Lunch Reach a scenic viewpoint and take a rest break. Enjoy your packed lunch while taking in the forest views and fresh mountain air. Relax and take photos before beginning your descent. Descent & Return to Hotel Hike back down to Marangu Gate where your driver waits.
