Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Early Breakfast and Group Assembly – After an early breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, join your safari group and meet fellow travelers. Depart for Tarangire National Park in a shared 4x4 safari vehicle with your professional driver-guide. Tarangire Game Viewing Begins – Upon arrival, game viewing begins immediately as you explore the park's wildlife-rich areas. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, impressive baobab trees, and seasonal wildlife concentrations along the Tarangire River. Common sightings include elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and various antelope species. Hot Lunch and Afternoon Exploration – Enjoy a hot lunch served inside the park at a scenic location. Continue with afternoon game drives exploring different park regions and searching for additional wildlife. Tarangire Area to Lake Manyara National Park

Breakfast and Journey – After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a compact yet remarkably diverse park set between the Rift Valley escarpment and the pristine lake. Lake Manyara Game Viewing – Game viewing starts on arrival with chances to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, baboons, and a wide variety of birdlife. The park is well known for its scenic landscapes, lush groundwater forest, and unique ecosystem diversity. Hot Lunch and Afternoon Exploration – Enjoy a hot lunch during the day before continuing with afternoon game viewing. Explore the park's diverse habitats and search for additional wildlife species. Lake Manyara Area to Serengeti National Park

Journey to Serengeti – After breakfast, depart towards the legendary Serengeti National Park, traveling through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. En-route game drives provide wildlife viewing opportunities as the landscape transitions. Serengeti Arrival and Game Viewing – Upon entering Serengeti, game viewing begins across the vast open plains. Wildlife sightings may include wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, lions, cheetahs, leopards, and other predators. The scenery changes dramatically as the endless plains stretch as far as the eye can see. Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater Rim

This is an excellent opportunity to spot predators returning from night hunts, large herds grazing in cool morning hours, and diverse wildlife engaged in natural behaviors. Group Brunch – Return to camp for a hearty brunch, refueling before your afternoon journey. En-Route Game Drive to Ngorongoro – Continue with an en-route game drive as you leave Serengeti and head towards the Ngorongoro area. Wildlife viewing continues as the landscape transitions from plains to highlands. Crater Rim Arrival – By late afternoon, arrive at your campsite located on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. This spectacular location offers stunning views of the crater below and surrounding highlands. Enjoy dinner at camp reflecting on your Serengeti experiences. Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Early Breakfast and Crater Descent – After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a memorable game drive on the crater floor. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a natural amphitheater spanning 260 square kilometers containing one of Africa's densest wildlife concentrations. Crater Floor Wildlife – This unique ecosystem supports exceptional wildlife density. You may encounter lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, and—with luck—the rare and endangered black rhino, Tanzania's most precious species. Hot Lunch Inside the Crater – Enjoy a hot lunch at a scenic picnic site inside the crater, eating while surrounded by dramatic volcanic landscapes and observing active wildlife. Continued Crater Exploration – After lunch, continue game viewing for approximately six hours total, maximizing wildlife encounters and photography opportunities within this natural wonder.
